Seawalk, The Bleneheim

I travelled all the way from Canada to meet my dad for one night only and picked this hotel because of it’s proximity to the town center and seawall. The stay far exceeded by expectations – the wifi was fast, plenty of coffee in the room and best of all they let my Dad check in early after his long drive to get there. Super comfortable rooms, quiet at night and not much of a view from my room, but my Dad reported Raphelite sunrise views from his. Breakfast was quite frankly delicious and again generous with extra toast and coffee. I really appreciated the warmth of the place and enjoyed chatting about the history of the property with the owner. I’ll be back 100 percent, might be a while! This was hands down one of the best hotels and most enjoyable stays ever in a hotel anywhere.

The Blenheim is in an amazing location with great views out to sea and overlooking Dawlish train station. The staff are very friendly. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious too! This is our second time of staying here and we are excited for when we can come and visit again.

Ali, the owner, told us about Michael Portilo’s stay in March this year. it was very interesting as we have just finished watching Cornwall and Devon scenic walks which he did the commentary and the walking. We love the location not far to Dawlish Warren. The Smugglers served fantastic food thoroughly recommend. Only about a minute or two in the car on the Teignmouth Road. If you like sea and train views this place is for you.
